WEEK 16 TURKEY DAY

This week my p-day is on the Turkey day. Turkey day is here so you know what that means. That's right Black Friday and Christmas Hooray! Thanksgiving is like the most short lived holiday ever. This year however the Lord wanted Thanksgiving to be more memorable than in the past. It was awesome to hear from President Nielsen. His message about gratitude was super epic. It's feels great to be greatful.

I was on exchanges with Elder Dalde and we were at a returned missionary's house. I told him I was the District Leader's companion. He said "so you are the DLB, the District Leader's Buddy." I'm proud to have that title. Now you have to call me DLB Clegg.

Nothing too crazy happened this week. We are still working with Jeremi and he should be ready for baptism in January. Hopefully he will decide to move the date closer but, who knows.

Elder Brown decided to drop by and drop off some yummy doughnuts. It was nice to see him and even better to get good snacks. Love you guys.

WEEK 14 OUR NEIGHBORS DON'T LIKE US

This week was pretty good because we had zone conference. We all gained more wisdom from our wiser Mission President.

Oh yeah, we also got somebody on date named Jeremi so that's epic and good news. He said he has been baptised before into a Christian church but, he knew it wasn't right because they didn't immerse him in the water. It's awesome that he was aware of a real baptism by authority. Hopefully, he will keep progressing to his baptism.

Our neighbors don't like us very much. They live below us. We got this nerf hoop and we played some nerf b-ball. Our neighbors downstairs knocked on their ceiling so we would stop. The thing is they had just played a couple hours of music which we can hear up here pretty loudly. Some sisters came by to drop off a pump we let them borrow and they said our neighbors were talking to them about how loud we are and they might report us. Don't worry I still love our neighbors but, nobody said being Christ-like is easy.

Y'all have a great week.

Adios

It also rained for the first time since I got here.

WEEK 13

It was a spooky week this week. Not really but, it was pretty good. It's pretty interesting here on Halloween. You step outside a 10 o'clock and you hear a gunshot. Then you hear another. If you think that Halloween is bad here in Vegas I can't imagine election day which is today.

We talked with this one dude named Jeremi. He was a referral from some missionaries that was on Facebook. He is really cool and is interested in church and stuff. We taught him the restoration and he thought it was really cool. We asked him to read the Book of Mormon and he decided to read 2 or 3 chapters a day. We didn't even ask him a certain amount. Hopefully it will continue to go well.

We also had a Trunk or Treat. You guys could probably guess what I dressed up as. That's right a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Some kids even came up and asked what we dressed up as. Some people came by and said we had the best costume which is true. It's a good thing we didn't enter the costume contest other wise we would have destroy some kids dreams.

Hope all is well in Zion.

Ps. I bought a ping pond net that hooks on to any table so now I can train to beat Grandma in ping pong once I get back.
