WEEK 57 STRIP CLUB/CRAZY BUS PEOPLE

Hello everybody! It was a pretty bomb week not going to lie. My bike needed some parts so we had to use the bus a lot of this week and it was pretty epic. There's so many crazy people on the bus it's hilarious. We were on it and this guy started talking to me about how this country is corrupt and something about Native Americans and talked about how the Bible is false and a bunch of other crap. He asked if I understood and I said No! He was also talking about how Satan is our savior and I was like I don't believe that. He was a satanist. It was weird. I don't know how this man has any hope in his life.

We had a bomb lesson with our boy Ivan! We went over the baptismal interview questions with him and he's doing really well. He has that desire to do good! Let's go! To end it off we asked him to pray and ask God if he loves him. We taught him how to pray. He did it and it was such a genuine prayer and right after His love hit us like one of those buses that we have been riding. It made Ivan tear up and Elder Russell was crying a little bit. It was such a spiritual moment. Ivan's baptism is going to be epic! On Sunday Ivan even brought his girlfriend to church! He is a better missionary than we are!

Elder Russell and I one night ended up at a bus stop right by a strip club called "Chicas Bonitas" which means beautiful girls in English. It was pretty weird. There were a bunch of women with limited clothing on. On the bright side we talked to some people about God around there. Don't worry, I don't give into temporal temptation.

I saw Aunt Nancy and Uncle Karl too. They went to the BYU game here in Vegas because that's what you do if you're retired, old, and from Utah! I appreciate the snacks!

It was a pretty epic week. I was also able to see my first convert Raul from my first ward at church on Sunday! He's doing good and is actually the ward mission leader now which is impressive. Hopefully everything will keep going well for us. I love you all and hope you all have a grand week. Stay off the bus all you can!
-Love Elder Clegg
