WEEK 25 THINGS ARE GOOD

Things have been pretty good here this week. It has been really busy and that's why I writing a short email. I figured out I'm kind of racist during member lessons on accident so that's interesting.

(What Spencer meant by this was he was at a house and they were cooking hot dogs while they were giving him a lesson. The hotdogs started to burn, and Spencer said "It's okay, once you've had black you can't go back." Quoting what his aunties say about burnt hotdogs.) 

WEEK 24 GENERAL CLEGG

 

For transfers the Lord has decided me to stay in the Laurel Canyon for another 6 weeks. In my area I have total dominion over the air force base here in North Las Vegas. I'm going to get a new companion named Elder Rhoads. I've heard he's pretty flirtatious so that's  right up my alley. I'm going to miss Elder Byington. We hit it off nicely and he will be missed.

It was a really busy week this week. I went onto the base 4 times in one day and I'm pretty sure that's a world record for missionary work. I went on the base to do member lessons and also to do a little service for a non member on the base. I also went on 4 different exchanges this week pretty insane. 

Anyways I'm short on time but, to make long story short it was a really good week. Love y'all bye! Also I'm not DLB anymore so RIP

WEEK 23 HOW MY LAST PERIOD OF 7 DAYS WENT

For some reason this week felt like a long week even though it was the same amount of time as a normal week so that's weird.

Sadly Raul hasn't been answering our phone calls or our texts he's going ghost mode on us. Hopefully, we can get back in contact with him and get him to be dunked in the font.

Elder Byington pulled a fast one on me this week. Our 1st counsellor texted us Saturday to ask if one of us could speak in Sacrament meeting. Elder Byington told me that Brother Smith wanted me to give a talk in Sacrament and I was obligated to accept. Later that night I read the text and figured out that he asked if one of us could do it not me specifically. Don't worry I  got to beat up Elder Byington and it was a bomb talk so it was a win win situation. The talk was about the significance of the first vision and it was epic not going to lie.

Facebook finding has been a weird experience. I started messaging this guy and I told him I was a Missionary and if he was interested in learning more about Jesus Christ. He started going off saying on me saying how I'm a lonely lost man doing so-called work for the Lord but it's straight vanity. He told me I'm Satan's messenger and he won't let me lead another soul away from God. You guys might of thought it was terrible but, I thought it was hilarious! I've left him Mormon 9:13 and he hasn't replied to it so I call it a win. 

Hope you all have a good week this week. I have said the word week a lot in this email so now I'll say instead a period of 7 days for now on.

WEEK 22 FAST SUNDAY ALWAYS THE BEST B-DAY

This week was pretty splendid if I do say so myself. My birthday was on Fast Sunday this year which is hands down the best day to have a birthday on. You don't have to worry about a cake because you can't eat any. Some people don't like their birthday by Christmas because it gets overshadowed but, I don't care because my birthday is close to Jesus's and that is the best gift! Hooray!!!!!

We got to have a lesson with Raul so that was sweet. He wants to be baptised we just got to set him on date now. Sadly he couldn't make it to church because his daughter had a fever so hopefully he will still want to progress.

We had a mission wide meeting about Facebook finding and so now we have been trying it out. Let me just tell you it's a wild ride. I feel like Facebook is more of a dating website the more I use it. We even taught this lady in the Philippines who wants to be baptised! And they said I wouldn't be serving in the Philippines! Who knows what will happen next. Overall that sums up the week.
