WEEK 46 DESTROYING KIDS IN DODGEBALL

It was a good week this week! We did missionary things this week!

We started a sports night for the family ward that we cover for the youth. We do it so that the youth can bring their non member friends and easily introduce the church to them. The power in our brains to come up with such a idea is immeasurable. We are also very humble about it. We had the youth come and a kid named Emmit came and he was like 5 or 6 and I nailed him in the head a couple times. Whoops. Good thing I was going easy because he probably wouldn't have head after my full power throws.

We taught the Valenzuela family again and the parents have more concerns than we thought. Even though they were baptized they never really had a testimony about the restored church of Jesus Christ. We will keep working with them. The kids are ready and really like church though.

We met a guy at the park named Andrew who is Native American and doesn't really have a belief in God. We talked about faith and having the desire to believe as it says in Alma. We testified of a Loving Heavenly Father and he said he would try praying and see what happens.

It was a superb week. I had exchanges with my fearless district leader named Elder Smith! I salute him. Y'all have a great week!

WEEK 45 SOMEONE STOLE OUR LICENSE PLATE? WHY?

It was a good week this week! Oh yeah, it's supposed to be 110 plus this week so that should be a hoot and a holler.

Yeah, our license plate got stolen right off our car. I don't know why but, it's pretty funny. On Thursday Elder Moss got out to back me up and then he came to my window and said "Bro, our license plate is gone!" Then I was like "What the heck?!" Lo and behold it was gone. Our vehicle coordinator told us to call the cops and we did. (We were on hold for like 20 minutes. Good music though) The cops gave us a number if we get pulled over we show it to the police and they know our license plate was stolen. We basically drove illegally all week but, we didn't get pulled over at all so we won!

Donovan finally texted back and he still wants to be baptized! He was just going through a rough time in his personal life so he didn't respond at all. We will keeping working with him The Valenzuela family is doing well and we just need to get a lesson with them. We haven't for a while but, they keep coming to church so that's epic!

Today we went to Fatburgers and ate the XXXL! It's a burger with 3 patties and about 2 pounds of meat in total. Luckily we played basketball like all day so all the exercise and running around cancelled out the 2000 calories plus from that burger.

It was a good week this week! This next week I'll probably sweat off approximately 14.345 pounds. Wish me luck! It will be epic!

WEEK 44 100°= Summer is Here?

It's starting to heat up over here in Vegas. You know what that means! Sweat, sweat, and what's that? Oh yeah, more sweat! We also had Zone Conference this week so that was epic!

They talked about opening our mouths more. Now I'm going to walk around with my mouth wide open hoping that words come in my mouth. Wish me luck! We usually meet with two zones for zone conference and we usually take zone pictures and I got to sit by the President because I'm cool. President and Sister Rodarte made sure that I didn't get into the other zone's picture. Before they took the picture Sister Rodarte asked if I was in the picture. It was funny!

Sadly Donovan hasn't been answering our calls or texts so we are a little scared. He's been ghosting us.

We were popping off this week in finding people to teach! We found 8 people this week! We also had 5 at church! I know it's not about the numbers but, it feels so good!

We were speed walking in the heat and I found a American Flag on the ground and started waving it around. When we got to the Member's house and we told them we walked over they got mad and told us we should have called them. It was on Saturday and we walked about 2 miles in 105°. It was actually fun! 10/10 would recommend!

Hope y'all have a great week! Remember to stay cool out there! You don't want to get heat stroke.
