WEEK 62 Wait a Minute: ¿Voy a Ir a Uruguay?

 President Rodarte called me last night at about 10 PM. He said "Remember how I asked you about your Spanish?" My mind flashed back to when he asked me about my Spanish several times these last few weeks. Most of my responses were that it wasn't any good. He then said "Well, you are going to need it." This one word he said changed it all: "Uruguay." He told me that I'm going on November 4th to go down to Uruguay. I guess I'm leaving my child behind to fend here in Sin City and I'm starting the new adventure of learning Spanish. It's crazy I've been in Vegas for over a year now. I've learned so much and finally figured out how to be a missionary and now God threw a curve ball so I can learn and grow even more! It's going to be good!

This week was really good. We talked to a lot of people. I'm training Elder Seal on how to be an epic missionary. He's already going to be better than me in the future. Being a District Leader is pretty funny. District council feels like a comedy show! It's super funny! 

Now I actually have to learn Spanish. I have been slacking in my language studies. Now it's grind time! I'll be fluent one way or another. We also had a new missionary training by the Temple and it's the perfect setting for the tree of life! If you look across the valley you will see the strip or the great and spacious building. Then you see the Temple or the tree of life. Then down the road bonanza leads to the temple and is the iron rod. It was really cool. 

I hope you all have had an amazing week! I just finished the Vegas summer and now I am jumping right into the Uruguay summer. 3 summers in 2 years. Doesn't really line up.

WEEK 61 I HAVE A CHILD

Hello everybody! Sorry I haven't written in a while. I know you all are in the depths of sorrow when I don't write but, now you can all rejoice! I have finally spoken!

Transfers happened and it turns out that I became a District Leader Trainer. My new child is named Elder Seal. He's also a Fisher of Fish. Now it's my job to help turn him into a Fisher of Man! He's cool and it's going to be an epic transfer. We already have had our fair share of crazy people that we ran into. I'm training Elder Seal right!

General Conference was really good. I'm so sad that when I was younger, I didn't really pay attention to the General Conference. Better to learn now then never I guess. I loved Brad Wilcox's talk a lot! It was really good! President Nelson's talk made me want to go to the Temple so bad. There were so many great talks! I love General Conference!

I hope you all have been doing well! I've been learning and growing a lot! I'm being refined into an epic servant of the Lord. The weather is also cooling down quite a bit. It feels super good!
